Note:
I am sure most of you reading this "note" have already figured out that the picture is not really a bird,
but is my right eye turned on its side and stylized a little with PhotoShop. The title comes from the fact
that when I happened to look at the image laying on the table from the side it reminded me of something
alive and dynamic. Perhaps a bird, but the colors reminded my wife of stained glass, like in a chapel or
maybe Firebird. My friend John brought it all together with the Phoenix concept which is very
appropriate for me since I have basically been out of the art world for a decade. This Summer has been
a Phoenix experience for me {i}. The "i" in the title is to use the play on words of eye with i (didn't want
to give too much away), to give a hint to the viewer that does not pick up immediately what they are
looking at.
